Industrial Maintenance Technician
This position is primarily responsible for performing maintenance work to support production activities. Duties include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, repairing equipment, installing parts, fabricating and welding, changing screens, performing electrical work, climbing ladders, and lifting fifty pounds or more.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform all work in a safe and conscientious manner.

- Apply working knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Work safely around high-voltage, four-hundred-eighty-volt AC circuits when assigned and qualified.
- Assist with troubleshooting AC and DC electrical circuits.
- Have basic PLC knowledge or the ability to assist with PLC-related troubleshooting.
- Perform welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and maintain strong work ethics.
- Participate in weekday on-call rotations.
- Be available for periodic weekend work.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- Assist with troubleshooting machine breakdowns and malfunctions using available tools, test equipment, and established procedures.
- Support the preventive maintenance program by completing inspections, replacements, and maintenance tasks according to schedules and procedures.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Welding experience is required. Candidates without welding experience will not be considered.
- Knowledge of electrical safe work practices.
- Ability to read and interpret basic wiring diagrams.
- Familiarity with forklift and scissor lift operation.
- PC experience using Windows operating systems and Microsoft software.
- Ability to lift fifty pounds regularly.
- Ability to climb ladders daily.
- Ability to hear alarms and operating machinery.
- Ability to work at elevated heights.
Additional qualifications include:
- Familiarity with local electrical codes related to switchgear, conduit, and controls.
- Working knowledge of hand tools, electrical measuring devices, motors, controls, heating and cooling systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Experience assisting with instrument calibrations, control panel layout and fabrication, and minor mechanical repairs such as motor, valve, and cylinder replacement.

Experience with these systems is considered a plus.
Pay: $21.34 - $29.80 per hour
