Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper/Laundry team member to join our compassionate staff at Baptist Homes of Adrian. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our residents, contributing significantly to their overall comfort and well-being. This will be a weekend day position with every Wednesday
Responsibilities
- Perform general housekeeping duties including cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and restrooms.
- Manage laundry services by washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and personal clothing.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are used safely and stored properly according to guidelines.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a positive attitude and respectful communication with residents and staff.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
