Role Summary
We are seeking a self-motivated professional to become our next Mobile Store Manager in our Miami Territory. You will be driving a 26' custom-outfitted ShoeMobile, which is a shoe store on wheels. This is just not a driving job; it is a mobile retail operation where you will be visiting commercial accounts to provide on-site fitting and distribution of Safety Footwear to customers.
This is similar to a tool truck, but for safety shoes. You manage the inventory, customer experience, and the sale from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Navigate a 26' box truck to predetermined on-site appointments. Punctuality, professionalism, and salesmanship are a must.
- You will fit, recommend, and sell specialized safety footwear based on the needs of the customer.
- Maintain a presentation worthy ShoeMobile. This includes loading inventory tailored to each account, keeping shelves stocked and organized, and basic upkeep of the truck and showroom.
- Utilize a company provided digital calendar and point of sale system to process sales and check inventory.
- Ability to work flexible hours based on account/plant work shifts. Some customer sites will require early start times.
- Overnight stays for far distance customers are required, but less than 5 nights a month.
Qualification & Skills
- Proven experience operating a 26' box truck, or similar sized vehicle, with a clean driving record.
- Strong salesmanship and a "customer-first" mentality.
- Reliable, independent, and proficiency with basic retail math such as calculating sales taxes or discounts.
- Basic computer experience to access a digital calendar and operate a point-of-sale system to enter sales.
- Ability to check email or basic spreadsheets for information.
- Ability to load/unload inventory, product cases of 6 units weighs approximately 35 lbs. Individual product weighs around 6lb.
- Bi-Lingual (Spanish) Strongly Preferred
Must be willing to undergo a drug test as a condition of employment.
