Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and enthusiastic HR professional for Brock’s Academy to help build foundations that will assist future business and professional team growth.
The HR Specialist is an integral team member that will support the daily operations of the Human Resources function by providing administrative, operational, and employee support services. They will be responsible for HR records management and operations, leave and attendance administration, training and professional development, employee relations support, compliance and policy administration, regulatory reporting, and employee engagement activities.
They will serve as a key point of contact for employees, managers, and leaders, ensuring HR processes are conducted efficiently, consistently, and in compliance with applicable laws and organizational policies. It does not have direct reports. It reports directly to the Chief Operations Officer.
Brock’s Academy is a Designer Education® program in which our educators work in homes, in schools, at one of our learning centers located in Woodinville, WA. We provide premium one-on-one tutoring and private school instruction to children and young adults who are having a difficult time in traditional school settings. Our programs are custom designed to match each student’s learning style, interests, and academic needs.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Associate’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or substituted with 5 years practical HR generalist experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Certification or Coursework: SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), Professional in HR Certification (PHR) or Human Resources coursework
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of human resources, employee relations, HR administration and experience using HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications; preferred in a school, educational organization, nonprofit, or service-focused environment.
- Skills: Knowledge of HR policies, and employment laws; customer service orientation; organizational and time-management; attention to details and accuracy; confidentiality and sensitive information; written and verbal communication skills; effective task prioritization; professional relationship building.

Pay: $26.44 - $36.05 per hour
