Responsibilities:
- Guide the team towards achieving the company's vision.
- Manage strategies, adapt current processes and technologies to implement the distribution center's operations.
- Plan, lead, and ensure proper management of resources in your area to achieve the set objectives.
- Implement Lean methodologies in your area to guarantee operational efficiency.
- Monitor and meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and punctuality goals in your work area.
- Ensure constant certification and performance evaluation of logistics providers.
- Implement current packaging and wrapping options to guarantee the necessary product quality at the lowest cost.
- Oversee the processes of receiving, unloading, warehouse management, stock, and dispatching products to their locations.
- Audit the fulfillment of delivery commitments on time and the shipping methods of logistics providers.
- Proper administration and use of forklifts.
Requirements:
Soft skills:
- Communication, leadership, neutrality, authority to manage your team.
Hard skills:
- Organization, decision-making, planning, strategies.
Academic background:
- Logistics engineering, Industrial engineering or Business administration
Experience at least 5 years in:
- Supply chain
- Warehouse management with over 10,000 SKU
- Handling logistics suppliers
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), JD Edwards
Bilingual in Spanish and English is essential.
