Job Summary
We are seeking two dedicated, compassionate, and detail-oriented Medical Assistants to join our growing integrated (functional and traditional medicine) primary care concierge practice team. These positions will support both the clinical and administrative functions of our practice, helping to ensure an exceptional patient experience from check-in through check-out.
The ideal candidate is professional, organized, patient-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities may include front desk operations, patient intake, clinical support, and coordination of care while working closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and other members of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and provide a welcoming, professional experience at check-in and check-out.
- Answer incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient communications.
- Verify patient demographics, billing information, and obtain required documentation.
- Room patients and prepare them for examinations by obtaining brief medical histories, medication lists, and vital signs.
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and patient care activities as directed.
- Perform point-of-care testing, collect and prepare laboratory specimens, and coordinate diagnostic testing as needed.
- Administer medications and vaccinations within scope of practice and according to office protocols.
- Document patient information accurately within the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Process referrals, prescription refill requests, prior authorizations, and follow-up communications.
- Maintain clean, organized examination rooms and ensure supplies are adequately stocked.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to support high-quality patient care.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent) preferred.
- Previous experience in a primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, or outpatient clinic setting preferred.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical workflows.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor with a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
