Midtowne Dentistry and Sleep is growing, and we’re looking for the right Dental Assistant to join our team. We’re a small, privately owned dental practice looking to add a full time dental assistant (RDA preferred) to our team. Our office has a unique mix of care: 3 days of general dentistry (restorative and clear aligners, no extractions, no endo) + 1 day of dental sleep medicine.

Position details
- Full time (4 day/week)
- Long-term position with a structured onboarding period
- No Fridays, no evenings, no weekends
- Mon/Tues/Wed 8–5, Thursdays 7-2
- Compensation: $21–27/hour depending on experience, certifications, and overall fit
Experience & Skills (preferred):
- At least 2 years of dental assisting experience preferred
- Comfortable with 4-handed dentistry and chairside assisting
- Experience with digital X-rays and diagnostics
- Experience with digital intraoral scanning preferred
- Comfortable occasionally helping with front desk tasks as needed is a plus
- Familiarity with Open Dental is a plus
- Familiarity with sleep appliances is a plus
- RDA preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Chairside assisting for general dentistry procedures
- Take digital radiographs and assist with diagnostics
- Maintain instruments, equipment, and operatory organization
- Support patient flow and help keep the schedule on track
- Assist with impressions, scans, and lab coordination
- Follow infection control and office protocols
- Grow within the role by taking on increasing responsibility and developing new skills over time
