Data Entry Specialist - Onsite position
Salary Range: $44,636 to $45,636 ( $22.89 to $23.40) based on a 37.5 hours per week.
Position Summary:
The Data Entry Specialist performs data entry in City of LA database system, Salesforce. Performs data entry and verification. Conducts and provides Salesforce data reports to Director and/or Program Manager. Reports and assists in correcting any data entry discrepancies.
Essential Duties:
- Enters, maintains and updates program and individual client data with accuracy and completeness in the Salesforce database, city of LA data system for an average of 2,600 to 3,000 clients per year.
- Completes Quality Assurance reviews to ensure accuracy and that contractual data entry expectations are being met.
- Reports any conflict of interests or data concerns to management as they arise.
- Performs data entry to open, transfer, update and close cases; runs and distributes reports as required.
- Assures that intake folders are available for case managers.
- Creates and assembles client record files and intake folders.
- Copies and creates logs, sorts, scans and files documents in UA and ICM charts
- Assist with the tracking of emergency and supportive services funds
- Runs and provides FSC customer enrollment, outcome and other reports as assigned on a weekly basis and as required by Director and/or Supervisor
- Follows up directly with Case Managers that data is complete on all FSC individual files prior to being entered into Salesforce data system.
- Answers general data inquiries, follows up with staff and communicates with Program Manager and/or Program Director on all files reported for data.
- Supports front desk reception by answering phones and covering front desk area as assigned.
- Completes intakes as assigned when intake coverage is needed.
- Attends on-site meetings and trainings as well as city required data entry trainings.
- General office duties as assigned by FSC Program Manager and/or Director.
- Participates and provides support in special events at FSC throughout the year (i.e. Resource Fairs, Back to School Event, Holiday Events, Annual Events, etc.).
- Assists with special projects as assigned by Program Manager and/or Program Director.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma and one year of data entry experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Detail orientated for reconciliation of database and referral systems
- Basic math skills, typing numeric and alphanumeric at least 45 words per minute.
- Accurate basic math skills to calculate and maintain routine numerical records.
- Professional phone skills and working knowledge of standard office practices
- Working knowledge of standard office practices, procedures and equipment.
- Positive, friendly manner to represent El Nido Family Centers when answering telephone and interacting with FSC customers, visitors and El Nido Staff.
- Social service experience preferred.
- Bilingual/Spanish preferred.
