Member Duties : The Food Pantry VISTA will play a vital role in developing and implementing long-term, sustainable solutions to address food insecurity and strengthen support systems for students in need. This position focuses on capacity-building efforts, program development, and community engagement to enhance the effectiveness and reach of pantry services. The VISTA will support the Food Pantry by assisting with programs and initiatives that address student food insecurity and promote equitable access to essential resources. Responsibilities include developing food distribution schemas, improving inventory systems, organizing outreach efforts, and supporting the development of initiatives that improve access to nutritious food for students in need. This role will also supports the identification, development, and maintenance of community partnerships with local organizations, food banks, and service providers to expand available resources and strengthen the overall impact of pantry operations.
