American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a Magnet-recognized, top-ranked children's hospital in California, specializing in developmental conditions including Autism, sensory challenges, and fine motor delays.

Outpatient pediatric OT setting at a nationally ranked children's hospital

Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts scheduled Tuesday through Friday (Monday off)

Patients include children with varied developmental conditions such as Autism, sensory challenges, fine motor delays, and regulation issues

Charting via Epic EMR

20-week contract

No on-call requirements; shift cancellations may occur based on patient volume

Minimum 2 years of OT experience required

Pediatric outpatient experience required

Active CA OT license required if applicable — candidates licensed in another state may utilize the 60-day rule to practice in CA while obtaining their CA license, and must be willing to pursue licensure upon offer

Current NBCOT certification required

Current BLS certification (AHA) required

Children's hospital experience preferred but not required

Feeding/eating therapy experience preferred but not required

2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
