The Valley Hunt Club is seeking an service-oriented Server to join our Food & Beverage team. This position is responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences by providing attentive, professional, and personalized service to our members and guests.

Compensation
The anticipated hourly pay range for this position at The Valley Hunt Club is $23.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
Dining Room & Banquet Service
- Greet members and guests with a warm, professional, and welcoming attitude.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and provide attentive service throughout the dining experience.
- Present menus, explain specials, and answer questions regarding menu items and ingredients.
- Maintain tables by clearing dishes, refilling beverages, and resetting between courses.
- Assist with banquet and private event setup, service, and breakdown according to Club standards.
- Monitor guest needs during events and ensure timely, attentive service.
- Complete opening, closing, and side work assignments.
- Maintain clean, organized dining rooms and service stations.
Member Service
- Create a memorable dining experience through exceptional hospitality.
- Anticipate member and guest needs while providing prompt, courteous service.
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, ingredients, and Club service standards.
Team Collaboration
- Participate in daily pre-shift meetings and team briefings.
- Support fellow team members during busy service periods and special events.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, country club, hotel, or fine dining experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Positive attitude and professional appearance.
- Valid California Food Handler Card and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Schedule
This position requires a flexible schedule, including:
- Days
- Evenings
- Weekends
- Holidays
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods throughout each shift.
- Lift, carry, and balance trays and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Safely carry objects up to 50 pounds for distances of up to 50 yards.
- Frequently bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and lift overhead.
- Push and pull equipment and supplies as needed.
