Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Business Objects Data Services (BODS)
- Expertise in ETL architecture, design, development, and optimization
- Strong SQL proficiency with hands-on experience in Oracle and SQL Server
- Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and Data Modeling
- Experience in data integration, migration, and transformation
- Hands-on experience in Unix / Shell scripting
- Strong understanding of data quality, validation, and governance practices
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end ETL development initiatives using BODS
- Collaborate independently with business users, product owners, and stakeholders
to understand data requirements and translate them into ETL solutions
- Analyze existing ETL solutions and identify, implement, and optimize code changes
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize ETL jobs to ensure data accuracy,
performance, and reliability
- Design and implement efficient data models and transformation logic
- Work extensively with Oracle databases for querying, tuning, and performance optimization
- Develop and maintain Unix scripts to automate ETL operations and batch jobs
- Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards
- Coordinate with data warehouse and downstream application teams to ensure
smooth data integration
- Document ETL designs, technical specifications, and operational procedures.
- Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements to ETL processes.
- Act as a Scrum Master / ETL Lead, ensuring Agile best practices, sprint execution,
and delivery quality.
Salary Range: $110,000 to $125,000 per year
