Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join a well-established and highly regarded litigation practice. This position offers a hybrid schedule, with regular in-office collaboration and flexibility to work remotely on an established schedule.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Our client is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to provide comprehensive support to attorneys and case teams throughout all stages of complex litigation. This individual will play a key role in managing case files, coordinating deadlines, supporting discovery, preparing legal documents, assisting with hearings and depositions, and helping ensure matters progress efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide comprehensive litigation support throughout all phases of complex matters
- Prepare, format, revise, and proofread complex litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, correspondence, and document shells using established firm templates and style standards
- Assist with deposition, hearing, mediation, and trial preparation, including the preparation and organization of exhibits and supporting materials
- Perform advanced Microsoft Word document production, including Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities (TOC/TOA), numbering, redlines/blacklines, headers and footers, margins, and complex formatting
- Maintain organized electronic and physical case files, administrative charts, indices, and other case materials in accordance with firm document management and retention requirements
- Prepare and organize electronic and hard-copy binders, exhibits, covers, indices, and other document production materials for case teams
- Support attorneys and the accounting team with time entry, case billing, and related administrative needs
- Provide project-based and administrative litigation support across case matters, collaborating with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure deadlines and professional document standards are consistently met
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, or Legal Word Processor, supporting complex, high-volume litigation
- Strong understanding of litigation procedures and complex litigation documents, with advanced legal document formatting and production capabilities
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Adobe, including TOC/TOA, redlining, proofreading, and complex formatting; experience with document management and litigation technology such as NetDocuments, Tabs3, Everlaw, or Westlaw is highly valued
- Exceptional grammar, proofreading, editing, organizational, and time-management skills with a high standard for accuracy and polished work product
- Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative professional who can take direction, independently execute assignments, maintain confidentiality, and remain composed while managing competing deadlines
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This position offers an annual salary range of $90,000–$135,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and overall alignment with the role. The position follows a hybrid schedule of four days in office and one day remote, with standard office hours of Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The role may require extended hours when necessary to support court, filing, and case deadlines.
