Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all pool patrons, maintaining a clean and safe swimming environment, and providing excellent guest services. This role requires strong swimming skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all guests.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
- Perform regular pool cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure cleanliness and hygiene.
- Conduct routine inspections of pool facilities and equipment.
- Provide first aid and CPR as necessary in emergency situations.
- Assist guests with inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on lifeguarding techniques and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, maintenance, and guest interactions.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Lifeguard is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescues when necessary.
- Knowledge of CPR and First Aid certification is required; certification courses may be offered for qualified candidates.
- Experience in guest services or hospitality is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for equipment or maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with pool cleaning and maintenance practices is advantageous.
