Overview
We are seeking a friendly and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage service. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing drink orders and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems
- Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, taking orders, offering recommendations, and ensuring a positive experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adhere to alcohol service regulations
- Assist with setup and breakdown of bar area for events such as banquets or catering functions
- Manage multiple tasks effectively through strong time management skills in fast-paced environments like nightclubs or restaurants
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles, particularly in bars, or banquet settings
- Proven ability to handle cash handling, cashiering, and basic math accurately
- Experience serving in dining or high-volume venues
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality excellence
- Experience with beverage preparation techniques including brewing or mixing cocktails is a plus
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the hospitality industry
