Requirements:
- Completion of a state-approved LPN program.
- Possession of state licensure as an LPN.
- Comprehensive background check due to the unique correctional environment.
- Mandatory certification in Basic Life Support.
Duties:
- Thorough health assessments of inmates.
- Meticulous monitoring and documentation of health status changes.
- Precise administration of prescribed medications.
- Accurate dosage and comprehensive documentation.
- Swift response to medical emergencies.
- Immediate care provision until higher-level medical personnel arrive.
- Delivery of health education to inmates.
- Addressing preventive care and promoting healthy lifestyles.
- Seamless collaboration with physicians, registered nurses, and healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
- Maintenance of precise and up-to-date medical records.
- Thorough documentation of all interactions and interventions
- Rigorous adherence to security protocols in the correctional facility.
- Ensuring safety while delivering healthcare services.
Pre Employment Qualifications:

- 2 TB tests OR QuantiFERON/TBGold
