Duties
- Greet patients warmly and perform accurate intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and verifying insurance information
- Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and respiration rates with precision
- Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms by setting up supplies, and ensuring cleanliness according to infection control standards.
- Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems efficiently to document patient encounters, referrals, therapies and treatment plans
- Ensure diagnostic procedures such as X-ray imaging or other outpatient testing are completed and scheduled
- Manage patient flow by coordinating follow-ups and ensuring timely communication between patients and providers
Experience
- Certified M.A. or Experience of 2 years or more in a practice or other setting required
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology to assist effectively in patient care activities
- Hands-on experience with EHR systems and familiarity with processes for accurate documentation
- Demonstrated ability to perform vital signs collection accurately
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Must be able to work as a team and communicate to support the patient, provider and each other throughout the day.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
