The Office of Technology and Innovation (OTI) enables the DMHC to deliver essential services to the State of California using Information Technology (IT). The systems that the OTI supports have become valuable tools in the execution of the DMHC’s business functions. OTI develops, maintains, and supports multiple IT systems that include a vast variety of office automation tools, custom applications, public and internal web sites, business intelligence tools, and the underlying IT infrastructure.
JOB SUMMARY
The Microsoft Cloud Platform Systems Administrator is responsible for the architecture, governance, security, performance, and overall operational health of the organization’s SharePoint and Power Platform environments. This includes administration of Power Apps (Canvas and Model Driven), Power Pages, Power Automate, SharePoint Online integrations, Dataverse, and Dynamics 365 environments. The role also oversees solution lifecycle management, tenant configuration, and API based integrations including Microsoft Graph API. The ideal candidate has at least four years of hands on experience managing and administering enterprise scale Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft 365 infrastructure.

The DMHC has locations in Downtown Sacramento and Rancho Cordova. Both locations are located close to light-rail with various amenities. The incumbent will work in a climate-controlled cubicle and/or office environment with artificial lighting.
This position may be eligible for hybrid telework. The telework schedule is permitted at the operational needs of the Department and is subject to change, consistent with the State Telework Policy and the DMHC’s Telework Policy. All employees who telework are required to be California residents and maintain California residency in accordance with Government Code 14200.
