Job Summary:
We are seeking motivated and dependable General Laborers to support our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the production of wood walls and trusses, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and performing a variety of hands-on tasks in a fast-paced shop setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the assembly and production of wood wall panels and trusses
- Measure, cut, and handle lumber and other materials accurately
- Use hand and power tools (e.g., saws, nail guns, drills) safely and efficiently
- Load and unload materials and finished products
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
- Support team leads and skilled workers as needed
- Other general labor duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in construction or manufacturing is a plus, but not required
- Ability to read a tape measure and follow basic instructions
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment (standing, lifting, bending, etc.)
- Basic understanding of hand and power tools
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Commitment to safety and quality
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Work on feet for extended periods
- Exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures
