Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages and food items with precision and flair.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, including Aloha POS and Micros POS, to process transactions efficiently.
- Manage cash handling accurately while following all cashiering procedures.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and efficiency.
- Stay informed about menu offerings and promotions to effectively upsell products.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation, food service, and food handling practices.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Strong math skills for retail math calculations and cash handling accuracy.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that enhances the guest experience.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Knowledge of sales techniques to promote café products effectively.
