As a Territory Manager, you should possess a solid understanding of the organization’s products and services to effectively present them to customers. This role involves managing a sales territory in the Houston Metro area and representing Royal Baths Manufacturing to both national and local builders' divisions. It requires assessing each customer’s needs and providing customized solutions while following the Royal Direct Sales Model. Success is measured by the ability to meet or exceed revenue and gross margin targets. Our Territory Sales Managers develop and maintain strong customer relationships and create strategies to increase regional revenue by addressing customer needs and special requests in partnership with the sales team.
The position requires a demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic account plans with the sales team to pursue market share, revenue, and margin growth.

Duties and Responsibilities

Work with Sales Leadership Team to identify, acquire and grow national builders and other key accounts within assigned geography

Create and maintain key target lists of key growth opportunity accounts

Generate revenue and profit via the sale of company branded products into the Single-Family and Multifamily home building markets.

Develop territory business plans per customer/opportunity

Develop and foster customer relationships utilizing the Royal Direct Sales Model

Development of growth strategies as dictated by market conditions within assigned territory

Maintaining accurate records of all sales activities

Preparation and presentation of reports to sales leadership and TM counterparts

Recommending improvements to the sales process and strategies
-
Strong ability to work across the internal organization reporting structure while ensuring alignment with finance, pricing, marketing, and product teams, which is focused on Royal’s business objectives

Maintain a strong working knowledge of all company divisions’ product line offerings.

Monitor industry & building trends and forecast, market shifts, competitor strategies & products, and customer needs

Other duties as required by the business

Minimum of four years of building products industry experience in professional sales or positions of increasing responsibility

Understanding of and successful experience in “Direct Model” sales in the construction industry

Thorough understanding of the U.S. residential building industry

Solid understanding of marketplace dynamics, including industry trends and assessment of key competitors’ programs
-
Proven capacity to communicate professionally in written and verbal formats across a wide audience

Proficient skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities

Superior follow-up and follow-through skills
