Part-Time Hospitality & Events Assistant
Do you enjoy working with people and creating exceptional guest experiences? The Historic Slovene Center is looking for an energetic, dependable Hospitality & Events Assistant to help oversee events, support bar operations, and ensure every guest feels welcome.
This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys variety. One day you may be preparing for a wedding, the next assisting with a dance, greeting clients, helping behind the bar, or giving tours to prospective customers.
What You’ll Do
· Help oversee weddings, parties, dances, and special events
· Assist with bar setup, inventory, and day-to-day bar operations
· Ensure guests receive outstanding customer service throughout each event
· Open and close the venue for events
· Work with bartenders, vendors, entertainers, and event hosts
· Give tours to prospective clients and answer questions about our venue
· Follow up with event inquiries and help book future events
· Assist with social media and marketing to promote upcoming events
· Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming facility

· Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
· A natural leader who takes initiative
· Comfortable working evenings and weekends
· Dependable, energetic, and willing to pitch in wherever needed
· Hospitality, restaurant, bar, or event experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person
