OVERVIEW
Alfiniti is a growing supplier of extruded and aluminum drawn tubing into the automotive, medical, defense, distribution, and leisure/home & garden industries with three plants in NC, AL, and QC. In this role you’ll be responsible for taking the initiative to increase production and productivity performance while reducing costs. This position plays a key role in reaching management’s objectives through the workforce performance. This person must have the drive to continuously seek to improve employee performance and processes and be hands-on to help make it happen.
Position Summary
The Production Foreman oversees
daily production activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality
manufacturing operations while leading production employees and meeting
production goals. A minimum of 40 hours
per week is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Production Operations:
- Supervise daily production activities and assign work.
- Ensure production schedules are met.
- Coordinate materials and machine readiness.
- Reduce downtime and review production reports.
- Ensure accuracy of all labor transactions for ERP system
Employee Supervision:
- Lead, coach, train, and evaluate employees.
- Monitor attendance and productivity.
- Issue disciplinary action when appropriate.
Safety:
- Enforce OSHA and company safety policies.
- Conduct safety inspections
- 5S
Quality:
- Ensure products meet quality standards.
- Reduce scrap and work closely with superintendent to implement corrective actions.
Continuous Improvement:
- Support lean initiatives and process improvements.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
required; Associate degree preferred. 3–5 years manufacturing experience with
supervisory experience preferred.
Good written, verbal and interpersonal skills communication skills,
analytical and problem definition skills, good computer skills and knowledge of
ERP; use of measuring tools (tape, calipers, micrometers); ability to be self-directed;

Leadership, communication, OSHA
knowledge, manufacturing processes, quality systems, problem-solving, Microsoft
Office and ERP familiarity.
Physical Requirements
Stand/walk for extended periods;
lift up to 50lbs; wear PPE.
Work Environment
Manufacturing environment with
machinery, noise, dust, and varying temperatures; overtime may be required.
