We're recruiting experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics to support surface mining operations across the United States.
This is not a workshop-based position. You’ll work directly on mine sites, carrying out diagnostics, repairs and major maintenance on large production equipment. Experience working on mining shovels is required for this role.
Responsibilities
- 3+ years of experience maintaining heavy mining equipment
- Previous surface mining or mine-site field service experience
- Hands-on shovel maintenance, diagnostics or component change-out experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel and work rotational schedules
- Ability to work independently in a field service environment
Experience on one or more of the following is required:
- CAT
- Komatsu
- Hitachi
- Liebherr
