Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled according to food safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations and equipment.
- Assist with menu planning and development of new pizza recipes to enhance the offerings.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for ordering supplies.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines in food handling and preparation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a cook in a fine dining or high-volume food service environment.
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on pizza preparation techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Proficient knife skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Experience with menu planning and catering is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
