Your Role
As an Optometric Technician, you’ll:
- Assist the optometrist with exams and procedures
- Perform preliminary tests (visual acuity, tonometry, lensometry, dry eye procedures )
- Administer eye drops and medications as directed
- Help patients with contact lens fittings
- Educate patients on eye care and eyewear
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Clean and maintain exam rooms and equipment
- Manage and order clinic supplies
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with ability to multitask
- Comfortable with computers (scheduling, EHR, billing)
- and medical terminology is a plus
