Chiropractic Assistant – Patient Care and Soft-Tissue Therapy
Back Pain Relief Center is seeking a dependable, professional Chiropractic Assistant to join our patient-care team.
We are a busy, established chiropractic clinic focused on helping patients recover from back pain, neck pain, injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. This is a hands-on clinical position working directly with patients under the supervision and direction of a licensed chiropractor.
Previous experience with massage, soft-tissue therapy, rehabilitation, chiropractic care, physical therapy, or another hands-on healthcare setting is strongly preferred. We will provide additional training and pay the costs associated with obtaining an Oregon Chiropractic Assistant license for the right candidate.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide doctor-directed soft-tissue and muscle therapy to patients
- Assist with therapeutic exercises and other prescribed treatment procedures
- Prepare patients and treatment areas for care
- Help maintain efficient patient flow throughout the clinic
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients
- Document completed treatments accurately
- Clean and maintain treatment rooms and clinical equipment
- Follow clinic protocols, patient-care instructions, and professional boundaries
- Assist with other clinical and administrative duties as needed
Ideal Candidate
- Has previous massage, soft-tissue, rehabilitation, or patient-care experience
- Is comfortable providing hands-on care
- Is dependable, punctual, and organized
- Communicates clearly and professionally
- Can follow detailed treatment protocols
- Works efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Is receptive to training and feedback
- Maintains a calm, positive, and patient-focused demeanor
- Is able to perform the physical requirements of a hands-on clinical position
Licensing and Training
A current Oregon Chiropractic Assistant license is preferred but not required. We will train the selected candidate and pay the applicable licensing costs.
Compensation
$25–$40 per hour, depending on relevant clinical experience, existing licensure, soft-tissue skills, and ability to work independently after training.
