Fencing Estimator – All-Around Fence Company
Position Summary
We are seeking an EXPERIENCED, dependable, and motivated fence installer to join the estimation crew here at All-Around Fence Company. Successful applicants must have experience installing chain link, wood, ornamental iron and vinyl fencing.

The Fencing Estimator position serves as a primary customer contact, meeting with clients, assessing sites, taking measurements and preparing accurate proposals for residential and commercial fencing projects. This role also coordinates with crews, office staff and vendors to help keep jobs organized, efficient and profitable.
Location: Tacoma, WA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 45–50 hours per week
Position Type: Full-Time, Salaried
Pay: $80,000 annually

Key Responsibilities
· Meet with customers on-site, take measurements and prepare estimates and proposals.
· Perform estimates 4–5 days per week for residential and commercial projects.
· Determine labor, materials, equipment and installation requirements.
· Guide customers through product options and communicate clearly throughout the project.
· Coordinate with crews, office staff, vendors and assist with morning dispatch.
· Review jobs daily, perform truck inspections and help maintain readiness for field operations.
· Follow up on completed jobs by taking photos, checking workmanship and confirming company signs are in place.
· Complete paperwork and job documentation accurately and on time.
· Support emergency service calls, minor field repairs and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
· Valid Washington State driver’s license with a clean driving record (required).
· Must be able to pass a background check for access to military bases and correctional facilities.
· 10+ years of fence-building experience with knowledge of multiple fencing types: Chain Link, Wood, Ornamental Iron and Vinyl.
· Ability to read blueprints, plans, agreements and job specifications.
· Strong math, measuring, communication and paperwork skills.
· Organized, dependable, initiative-taking and able to collaborate well with customers and team members.
· Ability to read, write, and speak English and work outdoors year-round.
· Spanish speaking is a plus.
· Commitment to safety, quality workmanship and professional conduct.
