Pay: $2.23 per hour
We’re a small, polished coastal restaurant and cocktail bar focused on great food, creative drinks, genuine hospitality, and giving guests a reason to come back. We’re looking for someone who understands that great service is more than taking an order, it’s knowing the menu, reading the table, making recommendations, upselling, working as a team, and creating a memorable experience without being scripted or stuffy.
This is a tipped serving position with opportunities for both lunch and dinner shifts.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous full-service restaurant experience strongly preferred
- Friendly, confident, and comfortable talking with guests
- Strong food and beverage knowledge, or a genuine willingness to learn
- Ability to recommend and sell menu items, cocktails, wine, and specials naturally
- Accurate order entry and responsible handling of guest payments
- Ability to manage multiple tables while maintaining attentive service
- Strong communication with bartenders, kitchen staff, hosts, and management
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to contribute to side work and keeping the restaurant clean
- Comfortable working in a busy environment without sacrificing hospitality
- Weekend and evening availability strongly preferred
We especially want someone who is a team player. Fish Hawk’s is a small operation, and there isn't a “that's not my job” mentality here. We all run food, clear tables, help each other when someone gets buried, and work together to take care of our guests.

Location: Fish Hawk’s — Dewey Beach, Delaware
Schedule: Lunch, dinner, evenings and weekends; availability needs discussed during interview
Requirements:
- MUST be over the age of 18 to serve alcohol in DE
- Must have a dependable and reliable form of transportation
- Must be willing to work days, nights, weekends (yes, this includes Sundays), holidays, and busy event days.
- MUST have a DE ABC card
- MUST be able to work for long periods of time on your feet and be able to lift reasonable amounts of weight (up to 50 lbs).
- MUST be able to perform the usual/typical duties of a restaurant server or other reasonable duties as assigned by management.
Pay: $22.66 - $27.29 per hour
