Please Note:
This position is with The UPS Store, a locally owned and operated retail business. This is NOT a UPS warehouse, distribution center, or package handler position.
Position Responsibilities
As a Retail Associate, you will:
- Deliver outstanding customer service while creating a positive customer experience
- Assist customers with shipping, printing, mailbox, notary, and other business service needs
- Process domestic and international shipments using UPS, USPS, FedEx, DHL, and other carrier systems
- Professionally pack customer items following carrier shipping standards
- Operate retail systems including:
- Point-of-sale (POS) system
- Computers
- Copiers
- Digital printers
- Wide-format printers
- Scanners
- Fax machines
- Laminators
- Binding equipment
- Assist customers with:
- Business cards
- Flyers
- Posters
- Blueprints
- Banners
- Marketing materials
- Signs
- Document finishing
- Answer customer questions in person and over the phone
- Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandising standards
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Perform inventory stocking and daily operational tasks
- Work as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment
Become a Notary Public
One of the unique opportunities at The UPS Store is becoming a commissioned Arizona Notary Public.
No prior notary experience is required.
Qualified employees will receive:
- Paid training
- Guidance through the Arizona Notary application process
- Support obtaining their Notary commission
- Ongoing training and development
Once commissioned, you'll provide professional notary services to customers as part of your daily responsibilities.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Good computer and technology skills
- Basic math and typing skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Dependability and punctuality
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to repeatedly lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds
Previous experience in retail, office administration, shipping, printing, or customer service is preferred .
