American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 1 year of NMT experience, with PET experience highly preferred, for a travel assignment at an acute care Magnet-designated hospital in Mission Viejo, CA.

Acute care Magnet-designated hospital with 426 staffed beds

Nuclear Medicine department with NMT and PET imaging

Schedule is either 4x10 or 5x8 hour shifts, with variable start times between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM

Day shift position

After-hours and rotating weekend call required; call expectations may vary based on experience level and will be discussed during the interview

Weekends may exceed every other weekend to accommodate unit needs
-
Charting is done in Epic; Epic experience highly preferred
-
Siemens equipment experience highly preferred

Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required

ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification required, along with an active CA license (license required if applicable)

Current BLS certification required

PET experience of at least 6 months highly preferred

Epic EMR experience required

Siemens equipment experience highly preferred

First-time travelers accepted with 2+ years of experience; candidates with less experience may be screened on a case-by-case basis

Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration

SSN and DOB required for consideration

Perform NMT and PET imaging procedures in a fast-paced acute care environment

Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
-
All RTO requests must be submitted upfront; scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered
-
Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate; contact your recruiter for details
