Description:
We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Assistant Fleet Manager to oversee personnel, safety, productivity, and budgeting for our maintenance operations across multiple recycling facilities. This role plays a key part in system transitions, equipment reliability, and team leadership.

Lead maintenance operations across sites, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency.

Manage personnel schedules, training, and performance.

Support the transition between maintenance software systems.

Oversee preventative maintenance, inventory, and repair part availability.

Investigate equipment failures and implement corrective actions.

Collaborate with Plant Managers to meet site and company goals.

Contribute to cost control, budgeting, and capital improvement planning.

Promote a culture of safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement.

Respond to operational emergencies when needed.
Requirements:
- 10+ years in maintenance leadership roles.

Proven experience with maintenance software transitions.

Strong knowledge of environmental, safety, and equipment management practices.

Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance-related software.

High School diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred.
