Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble a variety of cold salads, including pasta salads, vegetable salads, and Italian cold dishes.
- Cook and assemble Italian dishes such as antipasti, Pasta Dishes, and other traditional favorites
- Ensure all food items are prepared according to established Quality, presentation standards, and food safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep area, adhering to sanitation protocols at all times
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new salad ideas or Italian specialties to keep offerings fresh and exciting
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and rotation to minimize waste and maximize freshness
- Support the team during catering and busy times or special functions by preparing salads and Italian dishes efficiently
Requirements
- Proven kitchen experience in food preparation, Cooking, Cold Salads, Italian dishes
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Skilled in knife techniques, meal preparation, and culinary presentation
- Familiarity with menu planning, catering services, and serving in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent food industry knowledge with an emphasis on cold salads and Italian cuisine
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality
- A positive attitude with a passion for creating delicious dishes that satisfy customers’ tastes
