About the Role
We’re hiring a Quality Assurance Inspector to support production at Canfield Connector.
In this role, you’ll inspect and test electronic components and connector assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards before going to customers.
This is a hands-on position using testing equipment, microscopes, and inspection tools—ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and interested in electronics or manufacturing.
What You’ll Do
- Inspect incoming materials, in-process work, and finished products
- Test electronic components and connector assemblies
- Identify defects and record inspection results
- Use equipment such as meters, gauges, microscopes, and test fixtures
- Follow work instructions, drawings, and quality procedures
- Communicate issues with quality and production teams
- Assist other departments as needed
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow written instructions and procedures
- Basic math skills
Preferred (Not Required)
- Manufacturing or QA experience
- Experience with electronics or soldering
- Experience using inspection or testing equipment
Work Environment
- Mix of sitting and standing
- Work with small electronic components and larger assemblies
- Light to moderate lifting (typically under 25 lbs, occasionally more)
- Clean manufacturing environment
