Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Foreman to lead residential landscape crews and deliver high-quality outdoor environments across Northern Colorado. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with 5–7 years of landscaping experience who is ready to take full ownership of job site execution, crew leadership, and production performance.
As a Foreman, you will be responsible for managing daily operations in the field, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. You will lead your crew, coordinate materials and equipment, and serve as the primary point of communication between the field and management.
This is a leadership-driven role with strong growth potential for individuals looking to advance into Superintendent-level positions.
Position Level: Foreman (5–7 Years Experience)
- Demonstrates all skills and capabilities of Crew Tech 2, plus:
- Proven leadership experience in landscape operations
- Preferred bilingual ability (English & Spanish) for effective crew communication
- Holds a valid driver’s license with ability to safely operate trucks and trailers
- Reports directly to Superintendent
Key Responsibilities
Crew Leadership & Operations
- Lead, supervise, and motivate crew members on daily tasks and performance
- Transport crew to and from job sites safely
- Serve as the first point of escalation for crew-related issues
- Train, mentor, and develop Crew Tech 1 & 2 team members
- Enforce company policies, expectations, and quality standards
- Maintain authority to discipline, correct, or remove crew members when necessary
Production & Job Site Management
- Plan and execute daily production schedules to meet project milestones
- Drive crews to meet production goals and deadlines
- Read and interpret plans, layouts, and project specifications
- Ensure all work aligns with company quality standards and client expectations
- Communicate effectively with Superintendents, Project Managers, and subcontractors
Timekeeping & Reporting
- Clock crew members in and out of job sites
- Review and verify timecard accuracy for all crew members
- Complete daily job reports, including:
- Photos
- Progress updates
- Notes on job conditions or challenges
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce all job site safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Conduct routine safety checks and ensure crew compliance
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment at all times
Materials & Equipment Management
- Manage material deliveries, usage, and waste reduction
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and protection of materials on-site
- Operate and oversee use of equipment including:
- Skid Steers
- Mini Excavators
- Dingos / Mini Skids
- Safely load, transport, tie down, and unload equipment
- Confidently operate a pickup truck with trailer
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Strong understanding of landscape construction and installation practices, including:
- Irrigation systems (valve box assembly, trenching, head installation, system testing & adjustments)
- Sod installation and best practices
- Planting techniques and landscape layout execution
- Ability to read blueprints and execute detailed scope requirements
- Knowledge of site logistics and coordination with other trades
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years of landscaping or related construction experience
- Proven ability to lead crews and manage job sites effectively
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced outdoor environments in all weather conditions
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
