We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Sales Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. The Front Desk Agent will handle various responsibilities including guest check-ins and check-outs, managing reservations, and assisting with inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently while ensuring accuracy in reservations.
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and assist with product demos as needed.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for resolution and guest satisfaction.
- Process payments accurately using POS systems, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Upsell additional services or products to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area while merchandising promotional materials effectively.
- Assist in stocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations at the front desk.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery for guests.
- Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support.

Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service or retail sales.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and interpersonal interactions.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately; familiarity with retail math is beneficial.
- Experience with cashiering and cash handling procedures is essential.
- Bilingual candidates are preferred to accommodate diverse clientele.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required by business needs.
- Supervising experience is an advantage for those looking to take on leadership responsibilities within the sales role.
- Required - High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of three months hotel guest service experience or equivalent training and experience.
