Tanker Driver
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Tanker Driver to join our team. The Tanker Driver will be responsible for transporting various liquids safely and efficiently to designated locations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and adherence to transportation regulations. This is an OTR position with generous home time
Duties:
- Load and unload liquids from tanker trucks
- Safely operate tanker trucks to deliver products to customers
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on tanker trucks
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while handling hazardous materials
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
Skills:
- Experience in commercial driving, preferably with tanker trucks
- Proficiency in operating vehicles with manual transmission
- Knowledge of tractor-trailers
- Ability to load and unload freight safely and efficiently
- Basic automotive repair skills for minor maintenance issues
Requirements:
- Valid CDL with tanker endorsement
- Clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts
