Sunnie Spa & Scalp Sanctuary is seeking passionate and growth-driven Hair Stylists to join our opening team in Mooresville, NC, launching in September 2026.
This is not a high-volume, burnout-focused salon environment. We are building a space centered around intentional service, elevated guest experience, and long-term client relationships.
We are looking for stylists who want more than just a chair—those who are ready to grow their skills, increase their income, and be part of a supportive, high-standard team from the beginning.
We are hiring early to train and build our team with purpose.
Compensation
Hourly base pay + commission + tips + retail commission + performance bonuses
This is a growth-based role with strong earning potential as your books build, your rebooking increases, and your client relationships develop.
For experienced stylists with existing clientele, a straight commission structure may be available based on experience and demand.
Responsibilities
- Perform hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling with attention to detail
- Potential to also be a head spa therapist in our head spa
- Deliver a high-end, personalized guest experience from consultation through finish
- Educate clients on hair care, scalp health, and home maintenance
- Recommend retail products and treatment plans confidently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workstation
- Stay on schedule while preserving a calm, elevated service flow
- Support rebooking and long-term client relationships
- Collaborate with team members to uphold salon standards and culture
Requirements
- Active North Carolina Cosmetology License (required)
- Experience preferred (open to growth-minded newer stylists)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Passion for education, growth, and improving your craft
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
