Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, residential units, or common areas including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, buffing, and polishing to ensure pristine surfaces
- Conduct detailed sanitation procedures in bathrooms and kitchens to meet health standards
- Restock supplies like toiletries, cleaning products, and linens to ensure availability for guests or residents
- Assist with janitorial tasks including trash removal, window cleaning, and equipment maintenance
- Support carpet cleaning efforts using appropriate tools and techniques to extend the lifespan of flooring
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with janitorial or custodial background preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Knowledge of proper sanitation practices and safety protocols in cleaning procedures
- Ability to perform floor care tasks such as mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning effectively
- Experience with laundry operations including sorting, washing, drying, and folding textiles
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards or housekeeper management is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings
