Hemlock Homes — Custom Build-On-Your-Lot Home Builder
Washington, PA | Full-Time, On-Site | Competitive Salary + Performance Bonus
About Hemlock Homes
Hemlock Homes builds custom, build-on-your-lot homes across Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia. We believe building a custom home should feel exciting—not overwhelming—and much of that experience happens during the design phase.
Our Selections & Design Consultant isn’t simply helping clients choose finishes. They become the trusted advisor who helps homeowners design a home they’ll love while maximizing functionality, beauty, long-term value, and overall investment.
If you love residential design, understand construction, enjoy educating clients, and naturally know how to guide people toward better decisions, this is a career where your influence will be felt on every home we build.
Position Summary
The Selections & Design Consultant is one of the most impactful roles at Hemlock Homes.
You will lead homeowners through our structured design process, helping them make confident decisions about every aspect of their new home. Your role blends interior design, residential construction knowledge, and consultative sales.
Rather than simply documenting selections, you’ll educate clients on how products work together, recommend upgrades that improve functionality and lifestyle, value engineer where appropriate, and help every homeowner build the best version of their home.
Success in this position means creating an exceptional client experience while increasing average project value through trust, expertise, and thoughtful recommendations—not high-pressure sales.
