Hybrid Program

- 12 Weeks Standard Pacing
- Hands-On, In-Person Labs (Tuesday Evenings from 6:00pm - 8:00pm, Beginning Week 5)

Responsibilities
- Participate actively in structured training sessions covering laboratory procedures, techniques, and safety protocols
- Learn and demonstrate proper specimen collection methods including venipuncture and capillary puncture
- Practice maintaining aseptic technique to prevent contamination during blood sampling and specimen processing
- Assist with patient service activities such as explaining procedures, taking vital signs, and ensuring patient comfort
- Develop understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and the clinical laboratory environment
- Support laboratory staff with specimen labeling, processing, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Observe and adhere to policies related to patient care, infection control, and safety standards
