Summary:
Guest room attendants prepare hotel rooms by making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and replenishing supplies to meet quality standards. They help ensure guests have a pleasant stay by keeping rooms organized, fresh, and ready for use.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Cleans windows, doors, walls, closets, and fixtures in rooms and public areas, including hard-to-reach spaces, to maintain a clean and presentable facility.

Dusts and polishes all furniture, fixtures, and wall hangings, including using a duster to reach vents and ceiling corners to remove dust and cobwebs.

Cleans showers, tubs, toilets, sinks, mirrors, and surrounding surfaces to ensure sanitary guest and public restrooms.

Replaces towels, soaps, and all room amenities to ensure adequate supply for arriving guests.

Inspects all room equipment (TV, lights/lamps, faucets, radios) to ensure proper working order and immediately reports all room status and maintenance deficiencies to the supervisor on the floor for prompt repair/resolution.

Maintains the cleanliness and organization of floor closets and storage rooms.

Reports and/or logs all lost and found items according to established procedures.

Adheres to departmental standards on a safe work environment, including using floor signs in public and BOH areas, and ensuring needle disposal units and biohazard wash bags are used if required.

Secures and maintains custody of equipment, keys, and supplies, always protecting and preserving hotel property.

Prepares for any/all guest requests.

Maintains and ensures compliance with all policies and procedures.

Maintain regular attendance in compliance with company standards and scheduling, depending upon the hotel's needs.

Maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor always.

Contributes positively to the team within the department.

Participates in ongoing training.

Assist with projects assigned by the manager.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Six months of experience required.

Knowledge of general housekeeping practices, with the ability to follow safety guidelines and maintain professional behavior.

Working Conditions:

Work is not performed in an office environment and requires evening, holiday, weekday, and weekend hours.
