1099 Fiber Installation Technician (Work Vehicle Required)
We are seeking dependable, detail and customer service oriented independent contractors for fiber installation projects. This is a 1099 position paid per installation. Technicians must provide their own reliable work vehicle (SUV, Truck, or Van) and common hand tools.
Location: Montgomery, Alabama
Compensation:
- Paid per installation
- Weekly pay after initial 2-week hold
- Paid training (up to 40 hours)
- Additional pay available if willing to travel from Birmingham to Montgomery for jobs
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable work vehicle (SUV, Van, or Truck)
- Common hand tools
- Smartphone (required for job tracking and communication)
- Basic travel required to job sites
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional, customer-focused attitude
- Must be able to pass a background check
Required:
- Fiber installation experience; route experience required
