Job Overview
MASH Property Management is seeking both skilled and beginner General Carpenters to support multiple residential and supportive housing properties across Anchorage.
This is a floating position responsible for performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and emergency response across several properties. The ideal candidate is experienced, self-directed, and comfortable managing work orders across multiple sites while maintaining professionalism with tenants and staff.

Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of carpentry tasks including trim, frame, metal stud framing, door hanging, and siding.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to execute construction tasks such as floor installation, plastering, and caulking.
- Assist with fabrication and assembly of custom components.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment; document progress through reports and logs.
Requirements
- For the following requirements, we are looking at both beginners and the more experienced.
- Proven experience in framing carpentry, trim carpentry, or related fields within the construction or restoration industry.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and metal stud framing.
- Hands-on experience with floor installation, siding installation, drywall finishing (including plastering), and fixture installation.
- Knowledge of water damage restoration processes including mold remediation and water extraction techniques.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.; familiarity with scaffolding or working at heights is a plus.
- Strong understanding of construction safety protocols; OSHA certification preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail; ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements.
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation; willingness to travel between job sites as needed.

Experience:
- Carpentry: 2 years (Preferred)
