Overview
Life Flow Lymphatics and Massage is expanding and is seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist who committed to promoting wellness, relaxation, and pain relief for our diverse clientele. In this role, you will deliver personalized massage therapy sessions that address individual needs, utilizing your expertise in various techniques to enhance overall health and well-being. Our practice is dedicated to fostering a supportive atmosphere that encourages professional growth and mastery of advanced massage modalities. Although not a requirement, we will especially consider candidates with Lymphatic Drainage certification, or a commitment to obtain certification in the future.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand client concerns, medical history, and specific treatment goals.
- Deliver a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate therapies to support ongoing wellness.
- Maintain detailed records of each session, including treatment notes and client progress reports.
- Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to all health regulations and sanitation standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, address questions, and ensure comfort throughout the session.
- Stay current with industry best practices by participating in continuing education opportunities related to physiology knowledge, anatomy, pain management, and medical terminology.
Experience
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist In the state of Tennessee
- Proven experience in providing diverse massage therapies such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical spa treatments.
- Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to tailor treatments effectively.
- Prior experience working with clients on pain management strategies and occupational health concerns is highly desirable.
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to assess needs accurately and build trusting relationships.
- CPR certification is required to ensure safety during all sessions.
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
