Ability to successfully complete a Safe Food Handling Course

Demonstrate attention to detail, knowledge of good record keeping procedures and the ability to maintain accurate and legible records and current files

Time management skills with the ability to respond to time-sensitive/critical issues and work overtime as needed to meet deadlines

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

Ability to work for long periods of time in temperature-controlled areas such as the cooler and freezer.

Ability to work for long periods of time in non-temperature-controlled areas such as the dry storage area.
Knowledge and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to operate a forklift and a manual or powered pallet jack, forklift certification a plus

Prior warehouse, production, food service experience preferred

Above-average math and analytical skills

Ability to work well with donor, volunteers, agency representatives, volunteers, senior aides and other Food Bank staff

Acceptance of philosophy of food banking.
