Duties
- Support lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and social-emotional learning.
- Assist with classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and facilitating smooth transitions between activities.
- Help maintain a safe, organized classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood education principles such as Montessori or preschool methodologies.
- Collaborate with teachers on lesson planning, curriculum development, and assessment strategies to support student progress.
- Assist with classroom routines like snack time, bathroom breaks, and nap schedules for toddlers and preschoolers.
- Support literacy education and foundational skills in math through interactive activities and hands-on learning experiences.
- Foster inclusive participation by working effectively with children of all abilities and backgrounds, ensuring each student feels valued and supported.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in early childhood settings such as preschools or private schools is preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development theories and practices related to preschool and toddler care.
- Experience supporting students with disabilities, including familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom adaptations for special needs learners.
- Classroom management skills that promote positive behavior and engagement among young learners.
- Knowledge of curriculum development tailored for early childhood education, including literacy and numeracy instruction..

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
