Associate Dentist – General Dentistry + Implants/Surgery | 1–4 Days/Week

Leawood Cosmetic & Family Dentistry is looking for an experienced Associate Dentist to join our established and growing private practice. We are looking for a well-rounded general dentist who enjoys everyday restorative dentistry but also brings implant, endodontic, and surgical skills to our team.
Our practice has recently undergone a full renovation, including three brand-new operatories and a dedicated surgical suite. We have intentionally invested in our facility and technology to create an environment where a dentist with advanced clinical and surgical skills has the resources and support to use them.
This is a unique opportunity for a dentist who wants to maintain a full general dentistry schedule while also becoming the go-to provider for advanced surgical procedures within the practice.
The Role
This is first and foremost a general dentistry position. Your regular schedule will include:
- Fillings and direct restorative dentistry
- Same-day CAD/CAM crowns
- Crown and bridge
- Comprehensive treatment planning
- Emergency dentistry
- General restorative care
In addition to treating your own patients, we are looking for someone who can provide advanced surgical and endodontic care for patients throughout the practice.
Rather than referring procedures out, we want to support a dentist who has the training and ability to keep more advanced treatment in-house.
Depending on your experience and training, this may include:
- Implant placement and restoration
- Surgical extractions
- Bone grafting
- Endodontics
- Other advanced surgical procedures within your training and scope
A Practice Designed to Support Advanced Dentistry
Our office has been fully renovated, including the addition of three brand-new operatories—one of which is a dedicated surgical suite.
We aren't simply looking to add another provider. We are looking for someone whose advanced abilities complement our existing doctors and expand what our entire practice can provide.
If you have strong surgical skills, we have the space, technology, patient base, and team to support them.

- 2 doctors
- 4 hygienists, with a 5th being added
- Fully renovated clinical space
- 3 brand-new operatories
- Dedicated surgical suite
- Same-day CAD/CAM dentistry
- Established and growing patient base
- Strong flow of restorative and advanced treatment
Our large hygiene department and multiple providers create an opportunity for the right associate to receive advanced cases from throughout the practice while also maintaining their own general dentistry schedule.
Flexible Schedule: 1–4 Days Per Week
We can accommodate anywhere from 1 to 4 days per week, depending on the right candidate's goals and availability.
This could be an excellent fit for an experienced dentist looking to add one or two clinical days or for someone interested in developing a larger, long-term role within an established private practice.
Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is a confident general dentist who is comfortable with bread-and-butter restorative dentistry but also brings advanced clinical skills to the practice.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5+ years of clinical experience
- DDS or DMD degree
- Active Kansas dental license or eligibility for licensure
- Strong general restorative skills
- Comfortable performing fillings, crowns, and comprehensive general dentistry
- Experience with same-day CAD/CAM crowns
- Implant experience
- Endodontic experience
- Surgical experience
- Excellent communication and patient relationship skills
- Collaborative and team-oriented approach
