Position Overview
We are seeking a part time Driver to operate an 18 ft truck for scheduled biomedical waste pickups and deliveries around the Miami area. The ideal candidate is punctual, professional, safety minded, and comfortable interacting with clinic and office staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate an 18 ft truck for daily routes in Miami and surrounding areas.
- Pick up and transport biomedical waste from client facilities to designated disposal sites.
- Load and unload containers following all safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain accurate route logs and basic documentation.
- Provide professional, courteous customer service at each stop.
- Perform basic vehicle checks (fuel, tires, lights) and report any issues.
Requirements
- Valid Florida driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Experience driving box trucks or similar commercial vehicles (18 ft or larger preferred).
- Ability to lift and move containers up to 50–75 lbs with proper technique.
- Reliability and strong attention to safety and detail.
- Ability to follow scheduled routes and work independently.
- Comfortable working around medical/clinical environments.
Schedule and Pay
- Part time position 5 days per week (no weekends).
- Daytime hours (no overnights).
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
