Smith Personnel Solutions is seeking a motivated Crew Leader to guide a production team responsible for building structural trusses in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities:

Lead daily floor truss assembly operations and help the team meet production goals

Assign tasks to crew members and monitor workflow to maintain efficiency
*
Ensure work orders, drawings, and setup instructions are followed accurately
*
Inspect completed work to confirm quality and proper assembly
*
Promote a safe work environment and ensure team members follow safety procedures and use PPE
*
Train and support team members on equipment use, production processes, and quality expectations
*
Ensure materials and supplies are staged and ready for production
*
Communicate production updates, issues, or material needs to supervisors
Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
*
Experience in truss manufacturing, construction, or a similar production environment preferred
*
Previous leadership or crew lead experience strongly preferred
*
Ability to read work orders and basic production drawings
*
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
*
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in an active manufacturing setting
